Visitor statistics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. It uses no tracking cookies. The analytics script is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Statistics can be incomplete when scripts are blocked or visitors opt out. I use these statistics to see which pages people use. They are not used to identify readers. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of information.

Hosting and external links

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub handles requests to its servers under its privacy statement. Linked services, including Zenodo and Google, have their own policies. Email links open your email application; there is no contact form or newsletter signup here.

Interactive tools

The explorer downloads an aggregate file and filters it in your browser. It does not send filter selections to a research database or expose individual transaction records. The tax illustration calculates its examples in your browser. Neither tool asks for personal information.
